- South African National Legislation – Updated and consolidated South African Principal Acts, Rules, and Regulations from 1910 to present, including amendments.
- South African Provincial Legislation – Acts, Ordinances, and regulations applicable in each province from 1910 to present, including historical versions.
- South African Municipal By-laws – Full-text access to by-laws in force across all nine provinces from 1995 to present.
- South African Judgments – Reported and unreported judgments from all South African courts, continuously updated.
- African Law Journals Collection – Scholarly articles from leading South African law journals, including extensive archives and current issues.
1. Access to the Legal Research Assistant
Access to the Legal Research Assistant can be obtained through a subscription, query bundles, or free queries.
Please note that a myDiscover account is required regardless of the access option selected.
1.1 Subscription
To unlock full access and advanced features, you will need a subscription to both:
- The legal product source
- The Legal Research Assistant

1.2 Query Bundles
Once-off Query Bundles can be purchased for immediate use upon payment confirmation. Please visit the Pricing and Options page for bundle details.

All users receive five (5) free queries. These do not include access to the full-text sources.
